A native of the small coastal town of Orleans, Massachusetts,
Ian “iMac” MacLellan moved to Southern California after receiving his B.S. in
Economics and Finance from Bentley University, just outside Boston.
Originally planned as a 6-8 month post-graduation surf trip - the appeal of
sun, surf, and outdoor lifestyle has kept him in here for over a decade.
Ian joined the Mark-it Smart Gaming Division in 2011, leveraging the sales and
marketing experience he gained in the Recruiting/Head-hunting industry. A
former college football player, Ian’s competitive edge works to his customers’
advantage and his diligence is readily apparent. He often stays late and works weekends
in a relentless quest to find the perfect item for his customers’ upcoming
promotions. Ian’s hard work has paid off, as evidenced by his
multiple-year ranking in the Mark-it Smart Million Dollar Sales Club and the
high marks he receives from his clients. “Even when I’m on the road
for weeks at a time, I love every minute of it, getting to meet new people and
going to new places. I truly care about each and every customer I
work with and there’s no limit to the efforts that I’ll go to in order to make
sure that their loyalty programs are successful. At the same time, my
goal is to be easy to work with and make my customer’s jobs easier as well.”
Hobbies: Surfing, Snowboarding, Traveling the globe, Hanging out with friends, Classic rock, and volunteering with non-profit group GRID ALTERNATIVES.
